About PoolCareKit

PoolCareKit is a collection of free calculators for taking care of a swimming pool: volume, chlorine dosing, salt, and the rest of the water-chemistry math that usually lives on the back of a chemical bag.

Two principles guide every tool here. First, show the math — each calculator publishes its exact formula and a worked example, so you never have to trust a black box before pouring something into 15,000 gallons of water. Second, nothing leaves your browser — calculations run locally on your device, and we don't collect, store, or transmit anything you type.

These tools provide estimates for general information. Always follow the manufacturer's label on any chemical product, retest after dosing, and when in doubt — especially with a new pool — dose conservatively and adjust. Never mix chemicals with each other.
